Jenavieve Adams

Born and raised in Arizona, Jenavieve set off for New York City to pursue her creative and performative dreams at Pace University. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Commercial Dance, a Minor in Arts and Entertainment Management, and honors from the Pforzheimer Honors College.

In school, she had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the top choreographers and educators in the industry. While in school she often had the privilege of serving as dance captain for many pieces curated by her professors and guest choreographers. One of her favorite dance captain opportunities was to assist in reassembling and performing in a piece of Josh Prince's work at the Chita Rivera Awards. Some other proud performance accomplishments include, performing at Theatre Row (off-broadway) with New York City Children's under the direction of Broadway choreographer and director Stephanie Klemons. The honor of playing Velma in the Houston Grand Opera's production of West Side Story with revival choreographer Joshua Bergasse and director Francesca Zambello. Performing at the Icons of Culture Gala, honoring Diane Von Furtsenberg (DVF), in NYC under the direction of Broadway choreographer Lorin Latarro and her associate Matthew Steffans. She hopes to continue to carry her knowledge and experiences from the university setting and her young career over to more live theaters and on film.
